This policy explains how TVTimez uses your personal data when you visit tvtimez.store, contact us or use our service. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is TVTimez. Contact us about privacy at support@tvtimez.store.
What we collect, why, and our legal basis
- Order and contact details: your name, email address, billing address, phone number and order history. We use them to take your order, provide the service and keep accounting records. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and our legal obligations for tax records.
- Device details: your device’s MAC address and device key, which you send us in our chat after contacting us. We use them to enable your subscription on the right device. They are not collected on this website. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
- Connection data: to carry your connection through our cloud servers, those servers process your IP address and technical connection data, including technical connection logs. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and working.
- Messages: what you send us by chat or email, including your phone number or email address. We use them to answer you and support you. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- Website data: your IP address, browser details and the pages you request, held in server logs, and cookies as described below. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
We do not ask for payment card details. Payment providers collect those directly.
You must provide your contact details and device details for us to provide the service. We do not make decisions about you using solely automated processing.
Who receives your data
We share data only as needed with the following:
- our hosting and infrastructure providers
- payment providers, such as Stripe and PayPal, when you pay through them
- our messaging provider, WhatsApp (Meta), when you contact us through our Start now and Check now buttons
- accountants and authorities, where the law requires it
We do not sell your personal data.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some recipients, and TVTimez itself, may process data outside the European Economic Area. When there is no European Commission adequacy decision for the country, we use safeguards such as the Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact us for a copy.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Order and accounting records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Device details are kept while your subscription is active and for as long as needed afterwards to handle support and refund requests. Contact us to ask how long we hold a specific type of data.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you access to your personal data
- correct data that is wrong
- erase your data
- restrict how we use it
- give you your data in a portable format
You can also object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before.
To use any of these rights, email support@tvtimez.store. We will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work.
Cookies
We use cookies that the site needs to work, such as those that keep your cart during an order. These do not need your consent. We ask for your consent before using any advertising or analytics cookies.
Children
Our service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Security
We protect your data with measures including encrypted connections to this website and restricted access to our systems.
